absurdly peculiar

For a long time I have been pronouncing Madewell as Mad-well. That is until my friend pointed out that it is pronounced Made-well. Shame on me. I fail at pronouncing things. But besides the fact I was unable to pronounce their name correctly for a long period of time, I love their clothing! It looks comfortable, effortless, and chic all at the same time. I was just reading a blog called Asian Fashion Blog|Korean Fashion Blog .  They did a post on Head Scarves and I feel like this is definitely something I would want to have in my Summer Wardrobe. It is a great way to add color to a drab outfit and they have some available at every price range! So no matter what size your bank account is.. this is definitely one of those affordable items that can make an old outfit seem new. I've been watching videos from Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2011 and I am loving Elie Tahari's line. It looks classy, comfortable, and well put together. 

As I posted on an earlier post... a great way to shop and not feel so guilty about it are going to sites like Gilt Groupe. I found another great site called ideeli, which works pretty much the same way as Gilt Groupe. I was on the site today and fell in love with the Ravon Convertible Dresses. Prices range from $39-69 and the dresses come in a wide variety of colors and lengths. For the price and the fact that you can wear these dresses so many different ways... Last Friday, my friend from Nor Cal stopped by for a visit. On our way to the MOCA Geffen to see the Art on the Street Exhibit, we stumbled upon this film studio that Levi's was sponsoring for the public. We were able to learn about stop motion and made our own video! This video took us 2 hours to make and we only have about 40 seconds of footage. This really sparked my interest... and although this film is not the best and I probably won't win an Oscar for it... I would love to create more! Since I am waiting for my working VISA, I figure this is the best time to try it out! *Note: The music is from Everybody Else and the song is called Makeup .
