absurdly peculiar

So I decided to attempt Chevron Nails today.  I decided to use OPI's Barefoot in Barcelona and Essie's Lady Godiva. Following Refinery29's tutorial:  ( Photographed by Tracy Wang) I got these fabulous nails: While Refinery 29's tutorial pics looked as though they had a lot of control when painting their nails, I'm not going to lie...my nail polish was all over the place. But I was able to clean them up nicely! I'm loving my nails!

Yesterday, I went with my friend to SEPHORA because she became obsessed with the idea of glitter nail polish. My nails became the testers and these were some of the glitter combos we came up with using Sephora by OPI nail polish.    1. Black w/ Gold Glitter     2. Traffic Stopper Copper Top Coat      3. Royal Blue w/ Spark-tacular! Top Coat      4. Silver Blue w/ Flurry Up Top Coat      5.Glittery Teal w/ Traffic Stopper Copper Top Coat This was way too much fun. My favorites are 1 and 2! I also get to use my brother's SLR Camera for 2 months. So let's see if I get better at taking pictures.

Even though the weather has been really dreary lately... I'm excited for Fall. I think I've been exposed to the strong rays of the sun too much this summer due to my 29 day trip to Europe, so I welcome this weather with open arms. My favorite colors for Fall this season can be found in the form of OPI nail polishes: This season I'm loving grays, taupes, nude pinks, and dark reds.
