Gift Ideas for $50 or Under: Part II

David Bowie - Starman

I wanted to show pictures of my not-so-conventional Christmas tree today, but I haven't had the time to take photos yet. Saturday, I spent my birthday in Disneyland with friends and Sunday I celebrated with my family. Besides that I have also been busy making ornaments and coming up with designs for the UGG Australia: Design for a Cause contest. Please join if you can, it is such a great opportunity! You can find information here.

Maybe tomorrow I will post pictures of my tree and ornaments, but until then here is a list of items that would make excellent presents and are under $50 :

Notebooks with great cover designs are such an awesome gift. Every year I buy a notebook and keep all my ideas, drawings, and important information in it; it is a little old fashioned but I like it that way. The Loccitane Shea Butter Hand Cream is one of my favorite lotions... it smells good and keeps my hands moisturized! You can buy a set of three (in different scents) and it would make a perfect gift! I already listed a scarf before and I did it again because I love scarves; they turn a t-shirt and jean outfit into a little something more. I have always wanted to try using a french press because it looks so awesome. This could be a great gift by itself or when paired with coffee from somewhere like Intelligentsia Coffee (fair trade coffee) or with those mugs from World Market.

Also, if you have a minute to spare and because this is the season for giving, please take the World Food Programme quiz here. It is only 4-5 questions and by doing so Monsanto will feed a child in Africa. Seriously, no tricks and it will only take a few minutes..and then kabam! a kid will be fed eventually!
